German Shorthaired Pointer

German Shorthaired Pointers (GSP) were initially bred in Germany in the early years of the 19^th century. They were bred to perform various tasks related to hunting which includes pointing and retrieving games. They are also amazingly easy to train for any sort of activity that you like.

With a German Shorthaired Pointer, you should be prepared to provide them with high-intensity training for at least 1-2 hours a day. They have plenty of energy and if they are kept in a confined space without enough exercise, they can become dull and destructive.

The German Shorthaired Pointer was bred to accompany master all day, so they need full attention and hates to be left alone. If you are planning to leave a GSP alone at home to spend most of your time at your workplace, then GSP is not the right dog breed for you.

Boxer

Boxers are one of the most popular breeds of dogs in the United States, and they are also known as the clowns of the dog world. People love having Boxers in their family because of their playful personality and their puppy-like behavior which stays for the longest period as compared to other dog breeds.

Boxers have a shortened nose which makes them prone to heatstroke and it gets difficult for them to grow in a warm climate. They are also not great for cold weather because of their short coat which makes it difficult for them to survive in extremely cold weather conditions. The ideal temperature to keep a Boxer is between 20-25 Celsius.

Labrador Retriever

Labrador Retrievers have weather-resistant coats because of which it becomes easy for owners to groom them, and they only need to be thoroughly bathed after every two months. Labradors can easily feel lonely if left alone in the house, they require love and affection from every member of the family.

Labradors are hyperactive by nature, so be prepared to spend at least one-hour day to play with them so that they can use their excess energy.

Rottweiler

Rottweilers were initially bred to carry heavy objects because of their muscular body. Rottweiler is not the friendliest breed of dogs and without proper training, they can be aggressive towards strangers. Rottweiler is not for frightened owners. They need somebody who can be a firm handler and can professionally train them from an early stage of life.

Neapolitan Mastiff

Doberman Pinscher

The Dobermans are very intelligent and consider themselves the alpha leader of the house. They are very active and need lots of exercise and training. They also need to be around someone, otherwise, they become destructive if left alone for a long time.
