Scout’s Honor! Dog-Themed Badges

Dog Themed Badges

I think these cute dog-themed badges have so much potential… Scout’s Honor!

You won’t need much at all in materials, and possibly even less in skill.

The original poster at Modern Dog Magazine created a downloadable file you can use to create stickers, iron-on transfers, or even scout style badges!

If you go the badge route – you can put badges on your dog’s collar, sew them on your favorite jacket, or pin them to a backpack.

I think I’ll be using the stickers… they’ll look adorable on my laptop when I tote it around to work!  And I love using dog-themed stickers on my office stuff. 🙂

Scout’s Honor!

Materials:

Instructions:

  1. Option 1 – Print them onto a sticky label sheet and cut them out to use as stickers on letters, gifts or on party-favor packages of candy or dog biscuits
  2. Option 2- Print them onto an iron-on transfer sheet (available at craft stores) and iron transfer the print onto clothing
  3. Option 3- For sew-able badges, print them onto an iron-on transfer sheet, iron that transfer onto white cloth then cut out and sew the badges onto whatever you’d like—backpacks, bandannas, you name it! The perfect touch of dog-inspired whimsy for your fall wardrobe!

These badges inspire me a bit… I may need to try my hand at drawing some of my own!

These Scout’s Honor designs may be just the beginning.
